Woodcraft Flooring were amazed at the state of this existing parquet herringbone, we could not wait to crack on and see the difference unfolding under our very eyes.

The before and after shots are amazing to see. We finished the beautifully restored parquet herringbone with two coats of clear Bona Traffic HD for the most hardwearing finish.

What we did:

We sanded the entire area to remove a layer of oak which is like skin, when you peal a layer off the fresh layer is new and fresh, this is the same concept with oak, we proceeded to fill all gaps, fine sanding then took place which is similar to polishing before applying a primer and two coats of hardwearing Bona Traffic HD

Total time and people involved:

Two people, three days: two to sand, one to apply the finish to the floor.
